Marc Jacobs was the first designer to captivate me when I was in junior high. I remember the first time I saw one of his dresses (Lindsey Lohan wore it in a spread for Teen Vogue in 2005) and decided that this look is what fashion is all about.
His RTW Fall 2016 reignited that spark for me and reminded me why I love fashion. Layering, furs, feathers, volume, drama–the collection had it all (including Lady Gaga). I could see throwbacks to his earlier work but in a more current/modern styling.
